What Torus is
Torus is a daily newsletter and set of directories covering artificial intelligence in the United Kingdom, written for founders, operators and small business owners. It is journalism and general information.
What Torus is not
Nothing published here is legal, financial, tax, investment or professional advice. We write about regulation, funding and tools, but we are not your adviser, and you should not act on anything here without taking advice appropriate to your own circumstances.
Where we describe a grant, deadline, funding round or regulatory position, we do our best to verify it against a primary source. Details change, so confirm anything that matters against the original before relying on it.
Subscribing
The newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue. We may change the format, cadence or content, and we may stop publishing.
Directories and third-party links
Torus lists events, tools, companies and research produced by other people. Those listings link out to the source. We do not run those events, build those tools, or control those websites, and a listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee that the information is current.
Where a listing has been paid for, it is labelled. Payment buys placement, never editorial approval.
Your own content
If you submit an event, tool or company for listing, you confirm that you have the right to share the information and that it is accurate. We may edit, decline or remove any submission, and we are not obliged to publish anything.
Our content
Writing, design and original data on this site belong to Torus. You are welcome to quote us with attribution and a link. Please do not republish whole pieces or scrape the directories wholesale.
Company names, logos and trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners, and are used only to report on them.
Liability
We publish in good faith and correct mistakes when we find them. Email [email protected] with "Correction" in the subject line. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from acting on something you read here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
