What is Calendly?
Share a link, the other person picks a slot that already works against your real calendar, and it books itself. The AI additions handle routing and note-taking, but the original mechanic is still the reason anyone buys it.
This is the least AI thing in the directory and one of the most useful. The time saved is not dramatic per instance — maybe ten minutes — but it happens every time you arrange anything, which is what makes it add up.
Take the payment integration seriously if you sell consultations. A booking that collects a deposit has a dramatically lower no-show rate than one that does not.
What does Calendly cost in the UK?
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 event type, 1 calendar connection, one-to-one only. |
| Standard | $10/seat/month | Unlimited event types, multiple calendars, Stripe and PayPal payments. 17% off billed yearly. |
| Teams | $16/seat/month | Round-robin, lead routing, managed event types. 20% off billed yearly. |
| Enterprise | From $15,000/year | Minimum 50 seats. USD only. SSO, SAML, audit logs. |
What the free tier actually gets you
Free plan gives one event type and one calendar connection. Enough for a sole trader with a single "book a call" link.
What to watch on the price
Standard is $10 per seat per month billed monthly, about 17% less billed yearly. Teams is $16. Priced in US dollars, so expect an exchange rate and possibly a card foreign-transaction fee. Read 29 August 2026.
Does Calendly train AI models on your data?
Vendor does not publish it
Read Calendly's Privacy Notice on 30 August 2026. It does not mention model training at all. Relevant now that Calendly sells an AI notetaker, which sees a great deal more than your availability.

- The AI notetaker is a paid add-on on top of the seat price, not included
Who is Calendly for?
A good fit for
- Consultants
- Sole traders
- Anyone selling by phone call
Not for
- Businesses needing more than one kind of meeting on the free tier
- Anyone expecting the AI notetaker to be included — it is a paid add-on on top of the seat price
The Torus verdict on Calendly
The free tier genuinely works for a one-person business with one kind of meeting. Beyond that the seat price is fair for the admin it removes.
What are the alternatives to Calendly?
